How It Works
Three steps from setup to savings. No consulting engagement required.
Upload Your Fuel Contracts
Connect your negotiated rates from Love's, Pilot Flying J, TA/Petro and others. Setup takes minutes.
Plan Your Route
Enter your trip details. Our algorithm evaluates thousands of stop-and-fill combinations to find the globally optimal fuel plan.
Watch Savings Accumulate
Drivers follow a clear fuel roadmap. You see planned savings measured against the corridor benchmark, the average price of the stations along your route.
The Real Cost of "Fill Up When Low"
Most fleets leave thousands on the table every month, not from bad contracts, but from not knowing exactly where and how much to buy on each run.
Without OptiMile Pro
- ✕Drivers fuel up at the nearest station, not the cheapest
- ✕Contracted discounts go unused because dispatch doesn't know which stops qualify
- ✕Over-fueling at high-price stations inflates every trip's cost
- ✕Route planning takes hours and still misses fuel savings
With OptiMile Pro
- Every stop is the lowest-cost option within range
- Your full contracted network is leveraged on every run
- Fuel amounts are optimized to avoid carrying excess weight
- Dispatch plans routes in seconds with built-in fuel logic
The Price on the Pump Isn't the Real Price
Under IFTA, fuel tax is owed on the miles you drive in each state, not on where you buy the fuel. OptiMile Pro strips state taxes out before comparing stations, so you're always acting on true cost, not sticker price.
How most fleets compare stations

Indiana station

Indiana looks cheaper at the pump, by 5¢ a gallon.
How OptiMile Pro compares stations
Illinois station
$6.60 − $0.738 IL IFTA tax = true cost
Indiana station
$6.55 − $0.630 IN IFTA tax = true cost
Illinois is actually cheaper on true cost, by about 6¢ a gallon.
Tax rates as of Q4 2026. Rates change quarterly.
What is IFTA? The International Fuel Tax Agreement lets interstate carriers file a single quarterly return instead of separate fuel tax returns for every state. Taxes are calculated based on miles driven per state, not gallons purchased there, so where you buy fuel doesn't change what you owe in taxes. OptiMile Pro uses this to optimize on true economic cost, not just posted price.
What Doesn't Change
OptiMile Pro fits inside your existing workflow. No new hardware, no retraining, no disruption.
Save or Don't Pay
Save or Don't Pay guarantee: after your 30-day free trial, if the planned fuel savings OptiMile Pro shows for any paid month don't exceed that month's invoice, email us within 30 days after the month ends and we'll refund everything invoiced for that month. To qualify, your company must plan at least 3 trips per billed truck that month, averaged across your fleet. The guarantee covers one month, once per company; the full terms are in §6.9 of our Terms and Conditions.

A quick look at how OptiMile Pro turns your routes into the cheapest possible fuel plan.

A word from the founder
If fuel is the second-largest expense for every fleet in America, why is the planning still done on spreadsheets at 11pm?
Building a truly perfected fuel plan requires evaluating thousands of stop-and-fill combinations across every route, using prices that change daily. The math is too complex for humans to do reliably. So most fleets settle for "good enough" and leave an average of 11% of their fuel spend on the table.
That gap is why OptiMile Pro exists. We built the software that runs the math no spreadsheet can. Same routes, same contracts, same drivers. Just the right stops and the right fill amounts at each one.
If your fleet is running routes right now, you're overpaying for fuel. We can show you exactly how much.

A Bigger Fuel Discount Can Still Cost You More Per Gallon
A deeper fuel discount isn't a lower fuel price, because every discount comes off a posted price that differs by network and station. Here's how to compare retail-minus and cost-plus offers on the net price you'd pay at the stations your trucks actually use.
Georgia, Ohio and North Carolina Cut Their Diesel Tax. Don't Rush to Fill Up There.
Georgia, Ohio and North Carolina have cut their state diesel tax for part of this fall and winter, and their pumps now look like the cheapest on the map. Under IFTA the saving comes from the miles your trucks drive there, not the gallons they buy, so chasing the pump sign buys less than it seems.
The Best Fuel Optimization Software for Trucking Fleets (2026)
Most "fuel software" finds cheap diesel. True optimization decides how many gallons to buy at each stop, on post-IFTA true cost. An honest comparison of the tools that really do it, and of the fuel-card apps, telematics platforms, and routing engines that don't.
